  The staff is excellent and knowledgeable. Been noticing a lot of people from other towns are coming here and it is turning into all the other license offices.....crowded and every other person isn't prepared creating even longer wait times. C'mon people, research what you need to bring or remember what you needed last time. Don't blame the crew for wait times, they have their act together. Don't argue with them when you fail to have the required items.

  I went on 8/12/17 to renew my DL at 8 am first in line. I presented the older lady my paperwork and statement showing my address. (ins statement ). With my correct and current address on it . She went on to inform me that It wasnt sufficient enough. I left returned home grabbed another "bill" showing my address , and headed back up there. By this time the room was packed as expected. After waiting another younger lady came in to help out. My number called, I presented her with the exact same paper work , and asked will this be ok, if not I have more. She said no this is perfect, it has your address , your proclamation of cars ,motorcycles , and current info . Needless to say I got my DL renewed WITH THE SAME paper work I started with. I went back to the older lady and informed her that what I originally had was fine and showed her the correct info on it that she needed. She wanted to argue with me about it and tell me that the other girl should not have used it , the other girl said it was a correct document all she had to do was read it, flip it over . Basically do her job and a little research. Please , while I do understand that people do need to work, and all of us need to survive, at least make your customer facing employees either know the what they are looking for or be a bit more excited about at least having a job. This older lady either needs to find a new line of work that's not customer interacting , or move her to the back. She is rude, condescending, and lacks cust service skills. Please have a talk with her. I'm old as well so I'm not picking on the elderly. And if I could a half star I would

  Someone please explain why we have to pay the State of Missouri for the granting us the right to own an automobile. Then please explain why this nonsense can't yet be conducted online.
